“What we wear on screen is never clothing. It is the character, stitched together before the first line is spoken.”
Perseus Design Studio works behind film, television and touring stage productions — from concept and art direction to the finished piece, crafted in our own workshop in Copenhagen.
Productions we have worked with
In this industry, reliability is everything. When studios of this scale return to the same workshop, it says more than any portfolio page could.

The studio
Perseus Design Studio is led by Gabriele and Francesca Stazi — two decades of costume craft and art direction, now based in Copenhagen and working across Europe.
The workshop combines traditional tailoring and leather working with modern techniques: laser engraving, 3D printing and digital patterning. Whatever the production calls for.
We scale with the project. A bespoke hero piece is made by our own hands; a theatre production needing eighty costumes is handled through our network of trusted professionals and production partners — under the same design responsibility.

What we take care of
From first sketch to final fitting — designed for the character, the camera and the stage, and built to survive a five-week tour or a full shooting schedule.
Visual responsibility for the whole production: concept, materials, colour and continuity — and the on-set follow-through to make sure it holds.
Stage environments and physical production pieces for touring acts and live shows, designed and built as one coherent visual world.
